Revive 2007 Podcast 3: Darrell Miller

Join us from Revive 2007 at the Archdiocese of Atlanta Eucharistic Congress as Darrell Miller shares with us the message of the new film, Champions of Faith: Baseball Edition. (see www.championsoffaith.com). Darrell played Major League Baseball for the California Angels from 1984-88, contributing to 224 games during that time. Today, he serves as the Director of the Major League Baseball’s Urban Youth Academy in California. As a convert to Catholicism, Darrell shares the ways in which his faith has impacted his life. Darrell and his wife, Kelly also served as leaders of a very successful young adult ministry for 14 years at St. Angela Merici in Brea California.

Revive 2007 Podcast 2: Father Leo Patalinghug

Join us from Revive 2007 at the Archdiocese of Atlanta Eucharistic Congress with Fr. Leo E. Patalinghug, a priest of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Apart from his regular priestly duties Fr. Leo travels throughout the country speaking to various audiences. He is also the host for the pilot PBS TV Show, Grace Before Meals, a TV program to help strengthen families in their faith and appreciation of the blessings that God provides around His Table. In this podcast Fr. Leo shares with us his own personal faith journey and gives us tools for understanding the mystery of the Eucharist.

Revive 2007 Podcast 1: Danielle Chodorowski

In this podcast Danielle Chodorowski, emcee for REVIVE!, gives an introduction to REVIVE! and the theme for this year’s Eucharistic Congress, “The Food that endures for Eternal Life” (John 6:27). Danielle is a 2003 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she received her master's degree in counseling. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame. She loves sharing Christ’s message of freedom and healing. For several years Danielle worked in youth ministry for the Diocese of Alexandria, Louisiana and currently works with her husband doing life and career coaching for Catholics. Danielle lives in Steubenville with her husband David and their children.

Liz's healing journey from an abortion at age 24 provides balanced encouragement to all Christians and is a testimony of God's mercy.  She will share the lifelong process of conversion in her talk, "Called to Conversion."

3/7/07: Holy Grounds with Pete Brown: "Called to Communion: Why Christianity?"

There are a lot of different faiths and views in the world, but there is only one truth. But what is the truth? Why I am Catholic? Why am I a Christian? Pete Brown will help us explore these questions as he shares his own journey on the road to Christianity. A grateful revert to the Catholic Faith, Pete was baptized Catholic but did not embrace the fullness of his faith until the age of 25. Pete speaks and publishes on a wide variety of religious topics related to scripture and the Catholic theological tradition.

3/2/07: TGIFF at St. Andrew Catholic Church

Monsignor Marren gave an awesome homily on how to live our lives more for Christ and to stand up for what we believe in. He also highlighted where we have come in history and where we need to go. You count!
